Markus Schaffer von Sheyn betrachtet Vase im 3D-Design in Pink
Sheyn's design language is heavily influenced by modern architecture, with Sheyn even describing their products as ‘tiny architecture for the home and body’. In the photo, Markus Schaffer holds a vase from the ‘Bloz’ series.
It takes between three and 15 hours to complete a vase in the 3D printer. In addition to its speed, this production method benefits from its zero-waste approach - since the products come out of the printer ready to sell, only as much material is used as is actually needed.

„Thanks to 3D printing, we only produce to order and avoid overproduction - even though we offer over 50 designs in more than 20 colours.“

Co-founder and CEO Sheyn.

Sheyn's vases are made with PLA - a corn starch-based bioplastic that allows for flexibility and colour variety in design and is recyclable and biodegradable.
‘Our long-term goal is to establish local production hubs worldwide so that we can also produce our products internationally in the respective region,’ says Nicolas Gold about Sheyn's plans for the future.

„In the Gewerbehof, we can easily manufacture and dispatch our products, with the advantage that we can flexibly rent additional space if required. The scalability and ideal infrastructure of the location make it perfect for us"
