Vienna Life Science Report 2024/25

The life sciences sector in Vienna is booming - over 750 companies and institutions, 22.7 billion euros in revenue, and a talent pool of 49,000+ experts show that the city has established itself as a European hotspot for biotech, pharma, medtech, and cutting-edge research.

For the sixth time, LISAvienna, a joint cluster platform of the Vienna Business Agency and Austria Wirtschaftsservice, has released its Vienna Life Science Report. LISAvienna supports pioneering companies in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical products and digital health that develop new products, services and processes in Vienna and bring them to market internationally. 

From exciting startups to the biggest names in the business, life sciences companies in Vienna are thriving, and the city has become a true life sciences hotspot with the talent, infrastructure, and collaborative spirit to prove it.
