Waves Vienna 2026: Music festival, conference and workshops

The Waves Vienna Conference, taking place from 1 to 3 October as part of the music festival, brings together experts to discuss current topics and trends in the music industry.

Hosted at Albert Hall in Vienna's 8th district, this year's industry gathering focuses on sync, highlighting collaboration between music and film, TV, gaming, advertising, and other audiovisual media. Additional sessions explore music export, international mobility, and emerging business models. The conference also examines current developments in technology and media, as well as the future of the European music ecosystem.
