SUBOTRON Workshop “Why You Should Integrate AI In Your Game Dev Workflow – And Why You Shouldn’t”
Creative minds gather at Creative Days Vienna for two days of lectures, tours and networking to discuss the latest interplay of technology, culture and society.
Recently AI has become synonymous with generative tools for creating text, images, and videos and also more accessible, with game engines integrating AI-driven features quickly.
In this workshop by SUBOTRON arcademy with Daria Radu, we’ll explore AI tools indie game developers can use today to streamline their workflow in areas like prototyping, QA, or enhancing gameplay. We’ll examine AI features in game engines like Unity’s ML-Agents and Unreal Engine’s AI controllers, discussing their benefits and limitations. Finally, we’ll address security and ethical concerns AI raises, regarding data collection and machine learning models.
