Talk, Panel & Networking: Digital Design for Health
With the launch of the Content Vienna 2026 competition for creative digital projects, the Vienna Business Agency is offering the Special Prize on the topic of Digital Design for Health for the first time. The prize, worth €10,000, is awarded in collaboration with the Open Innovation in Science Center of the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft (LBG OIS Center) and is open to creative projects with the potential to develop new approaches for the healthcare sector.
Game designer Marlène Delrive (Autoscopia Interactive) will present her talk on ‘As Long As You're Here’ – a game that lets players experience Alzheimer's from a first-person perspective. In the panel discussion that follows, Jutta Scheibelberger (Vienna Business Agency) and Georg Russegger (LBG OIS Center) will join moderator Jogi Neufeld (Subotron) to explore how games, wearables and other digital formats can enable patient-centred solutions in healthcare. After the panel, there will be opportunity for informal exchange and networking.

Talk: The Subtle & Subversive Design of an Emotional Game About Alzheimer’s
In this talk, Marlène Delrive will walk you through what it took to make As Long As You’re Here, an emotional first-person narrative game about Alzheimer’s. In an environment that keeps changing, the game shows how Annie’s life is unravelling while she tries to process difficult memories from her past. But how do you emulate the feeling of forgetting, and what is the right and wrong kind of confusion? In a game full of subversions, how much is too much? How do you balance subtlety with drama?
