Calle Libre Street Art Festival

'Calle Libre' means 'free street' in Spanish, and that's exactly what this festival celebrates.

The festival is made up of two components.

The first is the actual art, where Austrian and international (often Latin American) street artists showcase teir skills on dedicated spaces in Vienna with “live paintings”. Calle Libre is a chance to observe these artists at work as they create their large-scale murals, spray paintings and other urban creations.

The second part of Calle Libre is the supporting programme, which includes talks and tours, workshops, artist meets, live music, opening and closing parties, and more.
