How To Fashion x AFA Showroom during Tranoï 2024

BERLING BUCHER was launched in 2023 by designers Joanna Berling and Anda Bucher. The brand’s visual language is based around the graphic deconstruction of classic elegance and luxury fashion codes. The brand intends to function as a multidisciplinary creative project where fashion remains the center around which other creative projects revolve. So far the creative output included multiple digital projects (including creative coding, AR, AI, 3D animations), a book project for AW 24-25, documentary film project and sound installation/exhibition work.

The label HISU PARK, founded in 2021 by the eponymous korean-austrian designer, stands for self-confident, empowering fashion and a modern aesthetic. To emphasize the artistic aspect of the brand, Hisu Park has created the fictional character „Grumpy Jane“, a sensitive woman, who presents herself confidently through her fashion. She is also the leitmotif of her collections „Grumpy Jane“ (2021), “Grumpy Jane and Gang” (2022) and „It's Me“ (2025). Locally woven silk-fabrics with unique patterns are combined with deadstock fabrics and Econyl.

Güç was launched in 2021 by designer Janette Papas. It was created with the idea of a garment adapting itself to the body of the wearer, and not the other way around. The name Güç is inspired by the founder‘s mother maiden name. Translated from Turkish Güç means strong, courageous, and brave: exactly how each garment of the brand helps the wearer feel. Using trims and other components, the individual parts of each garment were given an additional functionality: adapting itself to the wearer. Every Güç design is created using natural fabrics only, such as silk, cotton and wool. Güç is designed and handcrafted in Paris & Vienna.

Mussels and Muscles is a jewellery label founded in 2020 by Lea Köhn and based in Vienna. The founder studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and you can see this in her designs: in the field of tension between art and design, pieces materialise that are sometimes characterised by reduced clarity and elegance, sometimes by opulent minimalism. The creative process stems from conceptual considerations and results in wearable pieces that go beyond themselves and point to the framework to be expanded. The label stands for jewellery that harmoniously contours silhouettes (‘Muscles’) and imbues them with natural glamour, like sea salt dried on the skin (‘Mussels’).

NOT YET FYI is a sustainable knitwear fashion label based in Vienna, founded by Neva Özcü Örs. The brand’s approach to fashion is to create an imaginative universe by combining avant-garde forms and traditional handcrafting methods, always embracing high quality and sustainability. Through the synthesis of traditional knitting techniques, energetic forms and strong visuals, NOT YET FYI endeavors to liberate knitwear from stereotypes, presenting a collection of uniquely craft¬ed, offbeat garments that transcend the ordinary. NOT YET FYI’s essential philosophy is to create a balance between creativity and sustainability.
